The trailer for the Japanese remake of ‘Sideways’
This is no joke, Japan has taken it upon themselves to remake Alexander Payne’s 2004 film ‘Sideways’. I do wonder if this film will feature as much full-frontal male nudity as the original film had in it.
Movie popcorn will make you fat
The Center for Science in The Public Interest (CSPI) has completed a new nutritional report on movie theater popcorn. While the findings are not completely surprising, it’s shocking how much fat and calories are packed into those pricey buckets of popcorn.
“It’s hard to picture someone mindlessly ingesting three McDonald’s Quarter Pounders with 12 pats of butter while watching a movie. But according to new laboratory analyses commissioned by the nonprofit Center for Science in the Public Interest, that food is nutritionally comparable to what you’d find in a medium popcorn and soda combo at Regal, the country’s biggest movie theater chain: 1,610 calories and three days’ worth—60 grams—of saturated fat. (Nutrition aside, that combo costs $12—for raw ingredients that must cost Regal pennies.) “

The teaser poster for ‘SALT’
Joblo has posted the teaser poster for next summer’s big budget action film ‘SALT’, which stars Angelina Jolie. The film was originally set to star Tom Cruise who later dropped out of the film. I really dig the design of this teaser poster, since it’s one of the few teaser poster that appropriately sells a film that is nearly half a year away.
‘Halo Legends’ cover art and street date revealed
Warner Bros. Home Video has released the cover art for their upcoming ‘Halo’ anime anthology ‘Halo Legends’. They also revealed that ‘Halo Legends’ will be coming to DVD and Blu-Ray on February 9, 2010. Which means I’ll be putting this in my Netflix queue as soon as it becomes available.
