• I guess I’ll have to see ‘The King’s Speech’ because of all the Oscar buzz surrounding it, even though the premise just doesn’t do it for me, much like Colin Firth.
  • ‘The Kids Are All Right’ was not a comedy, nor was it a good film. The third act of that movie takes such an abrupt turn it was inexcusable.
  • ‘The Tourist’ was a comedy? No, no it was not. Also, another bad movie.
  • I love ‘Inception’, it’s one of my favorite films of the year, but ‘Inception’ is made a better film on the sheer basis overall this was not a stellar year for films. Thus solid B+ films are elevated to A+ films.
  • Halle Berry is still around and apparently not terrible anymore?
  • I need to see ‘Winter’s Bone’.
  • I also need to see ‘Blue Valentine’.
  • I really dislike Helena Bonham, mainly on the basis most of her roles are in part due to being Tim Burton’s girfrield/wife.
  • Did anyone actually see Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps?
  • Jeremy Renner getting some recognition for his performance in ‘The Town’ makes me very happy.
  • Just to reiterate Annette Bening & Julianne Moore being nominated for comedic performances in ‘The Kids Are All Right’. How was that movie a comedy?
  • Anne Hathaway being nominated for a “comedic” performance in ‘Love and Other Drugs’ doesn’t make much sense unless comedy now means taking off your clothes to make up for a subpar screenplay about a “damaged” artsy girl that pushes away the man that loves her regardless of the fact she’s fucking annoying.
  • Emma Stone is always hilarious, better recognize!
  • Angelina Jolie does nothing what so ever comedic in ‘The Tourist’. The only thing laughable about that film is the twist at the end, which is ludicrous.
  • I thought Kevin Spacey’s career ended after ‘21’.
  • Johnny Depp sure gets a lot of recognition for just playing weird in every role he does now.
  • I need to start watching ‘The Good Wife’ I guess.
  • ‘The Walking Dead’ nominated for best TV drama is very pleasing, but I’d rather see that nomination go to ‘Friday Night Lights’.
  • Lea Michelle has lost all of her appeal, sorry.
  • Why do people love ‘The Big Bang Theory’ and Jim Parsons? What cult punch am I not drinking since I don’t find him or that show at all humorous.
  • Piper Perabo nominated for her role in ‘Covert Affairs’, I can think of about 50 women more deserving of a dramatic TV performance nomination than her.
  • ‘The Social Network’ is going to win best screenplay no question.
  • Scott Caan being nominated for best supporting actor in ‘Hawaii 5-0’ amusing but he is one of the best parts of that show (which I find to be a guilty pleasure).
  • Chris Colfer is kind of whiny.
  • Julie Bowen is a far stronger comedic actress than Sofia Vergara, but Sofia Vergara looks better while walking somewhere with a purpose. Not that those two things correlate.
  • Once again, how was ‘Community’ completely shutout.
