The First Teaser Trailer For Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus’
20th Century Fox has released the much anticipated first teaser trailer for Ridley Scott’s ‘Alien’ prequel ‘Prometheus’, and looks very much like a sequel to ‘Alien’ as much as Ridley Scott is saying otherwise. Yo, that ship at the end of the trailer is theSpace Jockey ship from the first ‘Alien’.
The official synopsis for the film:
Ridley Scott, director of “Alien” and “Blade Runner,” returns to the genre he helped define. With PROMETHEUS, he creates a groundbreaking mythology, in which a team of explorers discover a clue to the origins of mankind on Earth, leading them on a thrilling journey to the darkest corners of the universe. There, they must fight a terrifying battle to save the future of the human race.
‘Prometheus’ is directed by Ridley Scott, written by Jon Spaihts and Damon Lindelof and stars Noomi Rapace, Michael Fassbender, Guy Pearce, Patrick Wilson, Idris Elba and Charlize Theron. ‘Prometheus’ opens June 8th, 2012.
